What the forms collect

An RSVP asks for your name, email address, chosen event and number attending. The volunteer form also asks about the work you would like to do, your availability and an optional neighbourhood or postal code. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the optional message.

Both forms record your consent and the time of your response. Event and volunteer coordination is handled by Ben Lanyon at ben@benlanyon.ca, not through Kermit’s personal inbox.

Your choices

You can attend the open houses without completing an online RSVP. You can also contact Ben directly. An RSVP or volunteer submission does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Contact Ben to correct your details, change or cancel an RSVP, withdraw your consent to further coordination, or ask about access to or deletion of your information. Some records may need to be retained where applicable requirements call for it. This notice does not promise automatic deletion on a particular date.

Where information goes

The website and its database are hosted by Cloudflare. Campaign notifications use a Google-hosted, send-only service addressed to Ben. These service providers may process information outside Canada. Website visitors and shared campaign reviewers cannot retrieve submitted personal information.

The site does not install advertising pixels, create advertising audiences from form responses, or sell contact details. When you choose an external service such as Facebook, your maps app or your email app, that service’s own privacy practices apply.

Brochure counts and security

A brochure link may carry an A or B label so the campaign can compare response to the printed versions. The site counts estimated daily visits using a one-way, daily-changing fingerprint rather than storing a raw IP address or using a tracking cookie. These estimates are not an exact count of people or camera scans.

Forms use a separate one-way network fingerprint to limit abuse. Cloudflare also processes connection information to deliver and protect the site. Authorized reviewers use a necessary, time-limited sign-in cookie. Ordinary visitors do not need an account.
